Along the Canadian coasts, a marine heatwave of strong intensity develops around Nova Scotia with severe and extreme categories.

North Tropical Atlantic Ocean – In the Gulf of Mexico and in the Caribbean Sea, the marine heatwave intensifies with the development of strong categories, locally severe. At the center of the basin, the marine heatwave intensifies, with the development of severe categories, locally up to extreme. 

South Tropical Atlantic Ocean – In the Southern Tropical Atlantic, the marine heatwave area stays stable, with moderate categories along the Brazilian coast
